Thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) is a new generation of material similar to rubber. Thermoplastic elastomer is a synthetic polymer that changes its performance characteristics depending on the conditions of use. For example, at extremely high temperatures TPE softens, while at normal temperatures it has the same properties as rubber. Our plant’s seals made of TPE are high-tech because they are made by coextrusion from the same material, but with different hardness values. A stiffer «leg» ensures reliable fixation of the seal in the profile groove, at the same time providing convenience of profile processing with extended seal both on automatic lines and at manual welding of corner joints, not allowing the seal to fall out of the groove or to move. The softer part of the seal is chosen to ensure maximum frame fit and tightness of the seal. Our plant technologists have developed a unique formulation together with our partners and selected such components that can ensure the longevity of our seal.
