Aluminum cylindrical billets are used for extrusion. Manufacturing ingots are produced by semi-continuous casting from aluminum ingots on modern equipment. The alloy is cleaned using a ceramic foam filter, which allows to obtain an alloy of high purity. Finished cylindrical ingots are subjected to a homogenization process.
On the basis of a Foundry Master compact optical emission spectrometer
it is possible to determine the composition of raw materials as well as that of the finished products, ensuring an exact correspondence with the chemical composition.
The plant offers a range of 6 m aluminum cylindrical ingots for extrusion of the following diameters:
— Ø127 mm
— Ø152 mm
— Ø178 mm
— Ø202 mm
